The terms that govern use of the Rankboard website and leaderboard service.
Effective date: [Month Day, Year] · Last updated: [Month Day, Year]
By creating an account, submitting the sign-up form, or otherwise using Rankboard, you agree to these Terms of Service on behalf of yourself and the business you represent.
Rankboard provides a hosted leaderboard that a business can populate with scores (manually, by CSV import, or — where available — through a connected integration) and display via website embed, a TV/browser display, or a shared link. Some features described on our marketing site, including certain POS/API integrations, SMS reward triggers, webhooks, and white-label options, are still in active development and are clearly marked "coming soon"; availability and timing are not guaranteed.
You're responsible for maintaining accurate account information and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
Paid plans are billed monthly and can be canceled at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. We do not charge setup fees. Prices are as listed on our pricing page and may change with notice.
You retain ownership of the score and customer data you upload or connect to Rankboard. You grant us a license to host, process, and display that data solely to provide the service to you.
Where you connect a third-party system (a POS, booking platform, payment processor, or automation tool), your use of that system remains subject to its own terms. We aren't responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services.
Rankboard is provided "as is." We don't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular business outcome (increased engagement, sales, or retention) will result from using it.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, [Company Legal Name] will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
These terms are governed by the laws of [State/Country], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Rankboard after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Questions about these terms can be sent to [support email], or by mail to [Business Address].
